April was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.  She was a flight attendant for 9 yrs. with American Airlines.  April is a wife, mother, model and philanthropist.  She holds the title of Mrs. Nevada-America 2009 and is also on the pageant committee board.  Making a difference in the community by volunteering her time for many charitable organizations, April supports The Olive Crest, Susan G. Komen, The Living Grace Home and Big Brothers Big Sisters.  April is the founder of the Fashion Swap Charity Event, which she started in 2008.  April and her husband Paul reside in Las Vegas with their 3-year-old son, Lucca.  They opened their newest business, Gigi's Cupcakes, in June 2010.
