Living Grace Home - A Safe Haven for Expectant Teenage Mothers
A Few Words From Our Director

WOW! It is hard to believe that we have been opened for over three years!

In our short time of service, we have made an impact on the Las Vegas community and the lives of our young mothers and their babies.

We have just hosted our 3rd annual Gala for Grace, a fundraising banquet that highlighted our young ladies, their challenges, successes, and our vision for the future. If you were able to attend, thank you! If not, hope to see you next spring.

In just over three years, we have provided, shelter, care, and hope to 49 young ladies for all or part of their pregnancy. There have been 45 babies born to the moms from Living Grace Homes, three have been placed for adoption in loving, two parent homes.

At least two of our former residents are pursuing college degrees, while current residents work on high school diplomas or GEDs. Our goal of assuring that when young ladies leave Living Grace Home that they move into permanent housing, and not repeat out of wedlock pregnancies, which is the number one indicator of poverty in the United States, have exceeded our expectations.

Our vision for the future is to expand into Phase II and provide expanded services to young moms who are not ready to move out on their own at the end of the 90 days after their babies are born. We also plan on closing the gap in services for teen moms who already have one child and may be pregnant again. Our current program does not provide for sibling care.

We are excited about the opportunity to serve and assist these young moms and to help them move on from here as parents who are able to care for themselves and their children, and to become contributing members of our society!
